A Dream Come True

"Dear Sister Tangedal, 
You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Ecuador Quito North Mission. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 18 months. 

You should report to the Peru Missionary Training Center on Wednesday, August 28, 2013. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the Spanish language."

*Because my level in Spanish put me in the 2 week program, I now report September 25, 2013 to the Mexico MTC. That is in 12 days. Oh my gosh guys. My stomach keeps dropping every time I think about this. Not until October 2012 did i think I would actually have this opportunity. I am so blessed. I love the Gospel so much and am amazed by its truth more and more each day. I am so grateful for our Savior, our Redeemer, our Brother, Jesus Christ. Because He performed the Atonement we have the blessing of being able to return to live with our Father in heaven and receive eternal life. Eternal joy. Life is a beautiful thing. I know that Christ is risen. I know that the Lord hears and answers our prayers and I know that we need to live by faith because by faith, all things are possible. The Lord wants to bless us. He wants to forgive us. We just need to come unto Him. I finally have, and that is why I love life so much. This is why I am so happy and positive. I leave these things with you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

I told the Lord that I would serve Him and do what He wants me to do, go where He wants me to go, and be who He wants me to be. He called me to Quito, Ecuador. A place I never even considered, but now that I meet people from there, read all about it, etc., I learn that it is absolutely PERFECT for me. I realize that it answers every one of my prayers regarding the mission. Like, I literally check them off the list. The Lord knows us perfectly and loves us perfectly. I promise.
