Next Thing I Knew I Woke Up In The..Date: Mon, Apr 7, 2014 at 4:12 PM

Nah. we were just jumped by a turkey. it was very frightening, but we handled everything appropriately... we screamed, held each other, and my companion grabbed a large stick and hit the turkey. Handled like professionals, and then the next day, we did a service project and were almost jumped on by a sheep. I mean... I supposed that we were asking for it... butttttt.. hehehe and then my companion played with the pig and the chickens as I stood a safe distance away from those....nasty chickens. if y'all don't remember. I almost hate chickens. Really. don't. like. them. To eat sure, but to touch? NO. hahaha and soooooo it was a beautiful week!!! seriously soooo great!! :)
My companion and I are biffles, so that makes this whole experience the best. :) I love it because I learn so much from her and supposedly she learns from me, idk what she is learning, ha ha,  but she tells me that I'm great. but yeah she is the best. We laugh sooo much. It's so great! Laugh therapy. and we both have a deep love for bread...so we'll get fat together! :D  This week, we bought carioca, like foam guns and shot each other like at random moments. ha ha it was so funny.  I told her to wake me up in a fun way one morning and what did I get.... she comes and sat on my bed and was like awww  hey its time to get up , like all sweet, and I was like awww thanks, and then she left
and came back running and started smacking me with a caña.- a stalk of corn. lololol it was so funny, hahaha and then another day, she was like hey hermana, time to get up, and I was like aw thanks and then I was ATTACKED. ANNIHILATED BY A FOAM GUN. hahahahaha omg so funny.  Oh, one day she was like "y'all betta git yo butt outta dat bed!!" and started shooting the ceiling. hahahha ok no, that one didn't really happened but that is one of our jokes. Hahaha man, so many funny things that I wish I could tell you!  Oh my gosh I'm such a great English teacher that the other day someone asked my companion, who is from Mexico?...and if she spoke Spanish. LOLOLOL.   And lastly, we have had this same song stuck in our heads for a week. it's an efy song but it's super creepy, haha it's like "I'm watching you". good times.
Haha, one day we were accompanied by the mission leader or idk what its called in English, but the líder misional, and we were in a store and I was like "oh, do you guys want a lollipop?" and hes like nah, pero quieren un golpe? ( nah, but do you guys want a hit or like asking us basically if we want a punch) and we were like wut. noooooooo!! hahahahahaha and come to find out, Golpe is the name of the candy bar that he was talking about,  that was a super funny moment. lol, and then a little girl was like I need help with my homework, and we're like ok!! and she's like it's for catechism, and she's like question one... what is baptism? haha and we were like, ohhhh we can help with this!!! hahaha it was so great :O

Ugh, haha we were walking and came across this guy who is super evangelical, and he was just smashing us, I mean none of the things he was saying were true at all, but he just went off, and oh my gosh, guys you don't even know. God was like HOLDING ME BACK!!! My gears were grinding, but obvi I didn't want to contend or anything, so I just did the only reasonable thing I knew how to do, I screamed and pointed, and while he turned around we ran. Nah i didn't do that, but seriously. I just DID NOT feel the spirit in that moment.  When we shook his hand and left, i accidentally squeezed his hand really hard. whoops -_- ha ha and then after that we were rejected soo many times. It was so funny.  We were just so surprised at how rude some people can be. lol,  like people would close the door in our face while we were in mid sentence, stuff like that, lol. We were like hey! We're missionaries of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints and this guy was like "no no no no no, no me gusta, no me gusta" ( I don't like it) and my companion was like... gasp!? No le gusta aprender sobre Jesucristo?   ( gasp... you don't like to learn about Jesus Christ?!) and he was like uhhhh..... hahahahaha. I suppose we might have crossed the line with that one, but it was after we were rejected by everyone, we were like -_-  ah ha then we said a prayer and felt happy again :)

Well, this week has also been a week full of BEAUTIFUL THINGS!!!! One day, we were walking to find an investigator and outta nowhere we were just like HEY! to this guy who was walking by and then we invited him to be baptized (after teaching him a little duuhh) and he was like absolutely!! if this is Jesus Christs church, yes!! and we invited him to conference and he was soo excited.  Then we went to his house the next day, but he wasn't there... but his mom was there and she was like YES!!! and she was like, reserve seats for me at conference ! I want to come! and then.... the guy, his name is Bryan, HE CAME!!! he said it was so good!! I'm sooo excited! he loved it :)    Earlier that day, my compis asked me how I was doing and I of course was great, but I had just gotten word that my investigators got baptized!!! yaye!! that's awesome, but of course, like every single transfer, or emergency transfer, they got baptised days after I left. so i haven't been able to see my investigators get baptized yet. It has happened every single time that someone is going to get baptized.  Sooo duh I mean I was  little bummed, but overall so happy for them, and my compis was like, aw don't worry hermana, we're going to see Bryan get baptized this cambio, and I know it!! I'm stoked.  KNOW  that I am going to be able to see one of the people that I teach get baptized :) like Edwin got baptized last week, but he wasn't my investigator, he was my companions, equal, it was amazing. I know its all a test from God though :)
I know Bryan and his family are going to get baptized, they are so good :) and we found so many other people who are soooo ready for the gospel and have accepted to get baptized. Unfortunately , in my sector, I can only work with indigenous people, so we have had to pass the referrals to the other missionaries who work in the Spanish ward.     Equally, I'm so happy. I'm just happy to see these people, my friends, progress and want to know more about Jesus Christ and totally change their lives :) life's great :)  I love all these trials of faith because although they are hard, i have truly seen myself change so much.
I don't remember if it was this week or last week, but i had a really cool personal experience and was able to open up my heart and mind sooo much more and I truly feel my personal conversion growing SO much more everyday :) It's beautiful. I am able to appreciate things soooo much more:) like ESPECIALLY the Gospel. I am able to understand it in ways that I hadn't been able to before. :)  I LOVE IT!!! I seriously wish that everyone could feel this awesomeness :)
So, this probably hasn't been the best email in the world, but I'm sooo tired. and dying, so tired, and out of time; and I didn't write down much of what happened this week. We've been working rull hard dis week :) love it!!! and I can't think right now haha, sooo sorry, but I just want to thank y'all for the love and support that you send me. :) It makes me happy. I love hearing from my family and friends. I feel a lot better because now I'm not like dependent on what my emails say. I'm happy to be here and focusing on the work :)
The Church is true and I have no doubts about that. Serious. Conference was amazing and guys we have a prophet helping us know what God wants us to d. iz da bess. :)
Love Life!!!
