It's been a crazy week. We had a surprise baptism this Friday. It was a pleasant surprise though. Dayana Ghyssleine, a 14 year old girl that we have been teaching who is super freaking awesome, decided... "I want to get baptized tomorrow" ha ha aight.... her parents were leaving for Chile the next Saturday and Saturday that was coming they were going to be busy finishing their papers for Chile. (they work over there too), so she was like... hmm I want to do it tomorrow, and not like. eeeh how about tomorrow? but like. "I WANT. to get baptized. and I want to do it tomorrow", dang. that was awesome. Everybody cried at the baptism. The testimonies were beautiful, especially hers. I'm so happy. After calling every number in our address book, scrambling around the whole day, having so many things fall through, everything went through great :)
One family that we had to leave told us that they have been reading the book of Mormon and will be calling us tomorrow to learn more :) That was awesome. We're stoked about that.
Well I'm actually super tired right now because... I was playing soccer with all the Colombian elders at our zone party today. ha ha so there's not too much going through my brain except for food, sleep, visits, ha ha. Oh, but we did find some new investigators this week! yaye! And another one of our old investigators, Bryan, is doing all that he can to reach his baptismal date! yaye! he is the coolest, ha ha.
But this week, I was able to really enjoy the scriptures. :) I read Jacob 5 and read every single little footnote. It was awesome. I truly gained a greater testimony of the love that Jesus and our Heavenly Father have for us :) I know that He is continually doing everything that He can for us and that even though He's always utting His part, we are the ones who fail. Man, I never want to be someone who forgets about God. I have seen His hand sooooo much in my life and soooo many blessings that, well in addition to the atonement, I'm eternally indebted to Him. I love life. sometimes, things are hard, but I love being a missionary and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. I have no doubts and no problem being bold and saying that I'm a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ.
Well I hope you all have a great week! and read your scriptures :) 5 minutes a day. do it! and you won't be sorry! Pray and strengthen your relationship with God. He IS listening. I know so. :) I PROMISE. the best thing in the world is sharing the good news :)
Love you all
