When Ecuador scored a goal.... (June 23, 2014)

Lololol
Actually this week was a little tough. my companion, Hna Irepan, was a little bit under the weather and we experienced a lot of rejection. woo!! Ha ha but we started praying for the people who are looking for us to find us, and guess what, THEY DID!! it was super cool to get contacted ha ha people were like hey I want a pamphlet, or like tell me more, or they were like what are you guys doing here!? And then we presented ourselves :)
Yesterday was super tough because one of our investigators told us that she couldn't listen to the message anymore because her daughter is super evangelical and she doesn't want the family split up. Well duh we don't either, but ahhh man. its so hard when you know what exactly it is that the people are rejecting. Its our salvation!!! Your salvation! All of our salvation!!! And so, we were there crying a bunch trying so hard not to, but we felt something super special with that family. I know that they changed a little bit to see how sincere we were, but man, we could nooooot stop crying. But hey, I know that the Lord knows the time for everyone. and I know that when we leave people, more people come.
Monday, one of our old investigators found us and told us that they wanted to hear us again. What was so awesome and I am so happy for that! :D and... Thursday, well I had to use my pepper spray..... don't freak out.... but... we were going to our investigators house with the zone leaders, and I warned them that the dog next door is vicious, but no one listened to me. Well the dog almost ate one of the elders and almost attacked us ha ha, and I sprayed him in the face with pepper spray and he ran, but oh my gosh. ha ha we were dying of laughter because we have never seen that elder run so fast in his life. ha ha ha and... well duh we were a little scared. ha ha but it was a great experience.
Well this week is San Juan. something really cool that the Otavalo people do here. You can look it up on google, but basically, there are a lot of huge parties by our house. ha ha ha, its so cool though. I like to see the cool masks, listen to the music and the dances. Its indigenous traditions. so cool!! :)
Oh and my companion discovered super glue in the funniest way ha ha ha ha.  Well,  i was on the phone giving the daily report to the elder, and I look over at my comp and she has it all over her hands and  I was like ....... UMMMMMMMMM.  ha ha, then she looks at me completely terrified!!! Ha ha ha and we got it off the most possible, but her hands were done. dun. DUN. hahahaha, but it came off the next day. Then she super glued my shoes to the floor, and many other things that didn't seem to be super glued... hahaha whatta prankster.
Ha ha and when Ecuador scored a goal against Honduras in the mundial, world cup, everybody was like wooooo!! And my comp shouted JESUS IS COMING!! and everyone was like wooooooo!!! ha ha its was the best thing ever!!!

Anyways, the spiritual side...   a pesar de que esta semana fue una semana un poco difícil, we got through it and have found new people. Hna Irepan and I had a breakthrough the other day. God is a dentist. a scientist. an artist. everything. He knows how to do everything. I know that before the mission I wasted my time with facebook and random things, but I know that that isn't something that I want to continue doing. I actually want to learn all that I can. Its so important!!!! That's the only thing that we can take with us when we die. our intelligence!! Man, I love the scriptures. I love love love the book of Mormon. I have been reading the Bible and duh its awesome, but some parts are so confusing. and the Book of Mormon clears it up. its so cool that Jesus went to the Americas too and told them all the Gospel. Then the Book of Mormon has only been translated once!!! Ahhhh its my favorite. and the best part is that anyone can know if its true if they pray with a sincere heart and honestly look for the answer. I realized something today. that we aren't going to get something if we don't work for it. So, that is why we need to study the scriptures and pray to receive our answer. Man, so great. I love the Gospel. It really opens your eyes. This week I was really able to stand back and look at what's reaaaaally important :)

I Love Life!!

Congratulations Bull on your graduation!!!! :D

I love you all!!

They dun dit it. we dun dit it. (June 30th, 2014)

So, we left them all. Almost all of our investigators. haha we have like none now, but I know that the Lord is planning everything. He's got everything down :) We are going to find people asap. :D I'm super excited for life. It's so great guys. It's tough sometimes, like dang, but, a fellow missionary reminded me something very important... in the words of a wise fish, just keep swimming. just keep swimming. just keep swimming swimming swimming swimming. What do we do? We swim swim SWIM!!! c :)    Ya ye!

Well, ha ha, this week we had our zone conference that was soooo cool! It felt like, once again, it was personalized for me. My comp felt the same way. The Lord is awesome how He works :) Ha ha, that night, since this week has been San Juan,  there have been parties and dancing on the streets left and right. Well, we were coming home at like 8:20 p.m. and we are like. Oh, let's get some food, but though, maybe we could go in and just be in a little earlier, butttt we had no food, so we went to the store and then what happens??? All of the sudden everybody on the street starts running away and screaming . What happened you ask? Yes, of course, the rival community came to crash the party. Literally right in front of our door. Apparently, when they battle, they start throwing rocks and all these crazy things. There have been deaths in the past. Well. we got locked inside a bakery. Ha ha, but there wasn't any problems that night, like rocks or deaths. That was Friday night. D:   but we are totes fine! We were on the other side of the city, ha ha in the woods, visiting a less active member that has been praying for our visits and we found her just in time :)
Saturday was super cool though, because, as we left all our investigators, we found three old investigators that want us to come back and teach them !! Awesome<!!! That was super weird, but awesome!  The Lord works miracles.  The Elders had a surprise baptism this Saturday and we might be having one this coming Saturday also. She is a 14 year old girl who is basically teaching US the Gospel. Ha ha. In her baptismal interview, the Elder was like, what about  ___ and she's like, well they haven't taught me this, but it's....... and she like went all deep. Ha ha ha love it!!!!

Well, I have no time, but remember that.. I don't know what I am doing, but I do know that this is Jesus' church. I know that HE organized this church to help us come back to him. I know that I am doing something that He wants me to be doing and I have to do my best because I know these things are true. Life's Great.

I love you all and I hope you can show even more love to EVERYBODY this week!!
