Goodbye Ibarra sun, hello Quito cold :) (December 1st, 2014)

Today we had transfers. Both Hermana Chim and I have been transferred!! But I know that the new sisters in this area are great and they are going to help Alexandra and Johnathan a bunch! :)  Man, just when we started to find more people to teach, but I know that the Lord has a purpose for all things :) I am now in Santa Anita in Quito. its cold!! and its a huge hill!! This is good for me. I deserve this, after eating horribly. Now I have to pay the price" aha :D  My new companion is Sister Mantill and she is from Colombia. she is super cool and super sweet. I'm stoked to get to learn a bunch from her this transfer, she has..... 6 months in this sector already... ha ha but she loves it still and so that means that its a great area! :D   I'm happy for a new environment and new people. We are going to find a bunch of new people. I know it.

Last night, when they told us about the transfers, I immediately thought of all the people that I didn't contact but I wanted to., I realized we can NOT do that!! We have to act NOW and in the moment. So on the bus to Quito, I talked to the man next to me and basically I explained the plan of salvation, the gospel of Jesus Christ and the restoration, hahaha he was super stoked. I know that the Lord is putting prepared people in our paths, because it turns out, he lives close and will be in our ward! He is a referral for the elders, but he is super stoked to learn more! :) I know that the Lord just wants us to act. He is placing us in those situations, missionaries and non missionaries, so we can SHARE!!! Share the love.  We can help all we can, but the thing that people need the most is the Gospel. :) I love life!

We went to a jail this week and I dressed as innocent as I could hahaha, I even took a lunch bag with a cartoon on the front. It was prime hahahaha. They loved it.  We saw many people repented, and many people not repented, like they didn't even care to be there. We taught the brother of an investigator who is there for false charges... man, I'm happy for innocent until proven guilty.... here its different, but it was hard to see the tears. I know that we all just need the Gospel. that's what Christ taught and that's what we have to do :) share it and live it

Like President Monson said, its less important to walk WHERE Jesus walked and more important to walk HOW Jesus walked :)   let's do it!! especially this Christmas season! share the love! :)

I will miss Ibarra, but I'm happy for the new changes that lay ahead!
