If Cinnabon made a perfume, I'd wear it (December 15th, 2014)

Guys. What. I don't even know. Well, to start off, today we had emergency transfers and my sweet companion of 2 weeks, Hermana Mantilla, is now serving in Eden with all of my friends from the US embassy. I truly am bummed, but I am happy for her. She started her mission in Santa Anita and had over 6 months there. It was her first cambio (transfer) and she was ready. We wanted to be companions for at least 6 weeks, but the Lord had other plans :) She is a machine with a heart of GOLD I tell you!!! She deserves the world! :)  Oh... also... she got the GNARLIEST stomach infection this week and... had to get an IV in at the hospital for a night because she wasn't keeping anything down. It was a little scary, but she is on some strong antibiotics now and is feeling much better. Please pray for her anyways :) (and don't tell her parents) ha ha.   

Now, I am with....dun dun dun dunnnnn!!! Surprise!!! my first gringa (North American) companion!! and its not only one,... but two!!! We're in a trio! Some missionaries went home due to illness today, and that was the cause of these emergency transfers. I'm now with Hermana Lefrandt from Alpine, UT and Hermana Szerdi from Hysperia, CA. They´re awesome. Now... we have two sectors. We're going to be working in both Santa Anita, and San Carlos (their sector). I don't know how, but I know the Lord knows how and He has got this all planned out :)

This week, due to my companion's stomach infection, we weren't able to do much because truly...it was the mother of all stomach infections (as the doctor said). So I had a lot of time to read and study. It was great! I read the book of Isaiah and 80 pages of Jesus the Christ, in Spanish. I really didn't understand anything.... but at least I can say that I did it.-.-   Hahhahha   I'm going to have to read them again, but I was just thinking about how great the Love that the Lord has for us, He is never going to give us more than we can handle, but He is going to stretch us. I'm very grateful for my testimony and for the confirmations of the Spirit.

I know that this IS the church of Jesus Christ. Sometimes, I feel bad because I feel like I'm not doing all that I can, but I have just realized, WE HAVE TO WORK NOW, not tomorrow, NOW!!! Just follow the Spirit when it tells you something and don't question it. If we want to see a change, we have to be that change... NOW! :) I have difficulties with starting NOW, but I really really really want to be stronger in that, and like Ether 12:27 says, the Lord will help us make weak things become strong! :)  I confide in the Lord's promises and I know that He always keeps His word! :)  Sometimes I get sad because of the bad choices that my loved ones make, but I know that they will come around. The Lord hears our prayers and is watching out for them :) I want to see you all in the Celestial kingdom, so GET THERE!!! That gives me motivation to work. Seeing all my loved ones in the Celestial kingdom one day! :)
