Starting that last transfer-diddley today :O (February 23, 2015)

Queridos amigos!!

Dear friends!! Well, this month of February, the mission is doing something called, the Faith of February brings the Miracles of March, Where we each make a personal sacrifice. I believe that if we want to see miracles, we need to sacrifice something that will be a little hard, so we can show the Lord that we DO want to see miracles. Where there is sacrifice, there are blessings.And...one of my personal sacrifices  is to not read friends emails...nor write you guys until this personal sacrifice ends. Just through this weekly mass email. If you want, you can keep writing me so i have something fun to read in April... At the end of the sacrifice, I'm stoked to respond to you guys, but until then, this will be our means of communication. :) Thank you and I love you!

Wow. I cannot believe how fast time has flown.

Today is the start of my last cambio (transfer), and all my friends from my group and best friends leave tomorrow (because I was only in the MTC for 2 weeks)!! Ahhh crazy! I'm just so grateful that I have had this time to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ, and to be able to do it at THIS time and HERE in Quito, Ecuador, and with THESE people. I would not prefer it any other way :)

We're having cambios... :o bummmmerrrr. My beloved daughter, Hna Colque, has to go back to Bolivia, so that her recently operated nose, can recover. I forgot what she had, but it needs to get better and the weather here and the physical demands are a little too much for the recovery process. It was a lot of fun getting to train her! I will miss her, but I know that the Lord has a better plan for her :)

My new companion is... dun dun dun duuuunn! hemana _______.   I don't know yet, ha ha I'm training a new hermana again. Ya ye! I'm excited! I just really hope she wants to be obedient and diligent like Hna Colque! I know the Lord has a great plan for me these last 6 weeks. He's doing everything that He can so I can finish on a high note. But mannn. I don't know if it is just me or what, but I am so tired. But I'm stoked to give it my all! :D My new daughter doesn't even know what's coming! ha ha ha.

This week. lol. lawl. was actually... well, tougher than last week. Ha ha ha,but there were miracles!!! PEOPLE KEPT CONTACTING US! Ha ha  it's the best!! Yesterday, we were walking to lunch after ward council and this guy carrying a box of empty beer bottles is like, "hermanas!! where is the church and at what time do you attend?" And we were like, "....muuuhhh... umm...wait what?" And told him where it was and turns out he is an inactive active member from Guayaquil and he hasn't gone to church in like 8 years and wants to come back! :D Ya ye! That was super cool! His name is Paulo.

Before that, we were walking to church and we heard, "pssst pssss psttt!! hermanas!" and we turn, and it was Maria, an old investigator that was so pumped to learn about the Gospel , but then she disappeared and we never saw her again. She told us that she was living in Calderon (another city/my first sector), and that she desperately needs the missionaries and was hoping to find us! Some guys tried to violate her daughter and the dad came to rescue the day and stabbed one guy and then went to jail. Scary, right? Welcome. But we have angels that protect us. Seriously. :)    Soooooo we're sending the Elders over ASAP! :D

Then, well Thusday, at the new missionary verification meeting, is when we found out about Hna Colque's nose thing.. sooo it was a very sad day for her, and too many emotions for me to handle. I was sooooo tired. I know that God loves me so much. Like seriously, He is doing everything that He can so I can be OK! Thursday night, we got a phone call from the Hna leaders, letting us know that we were doing divisions Friday. That was going to be really good, and to my surprise, I went with Hna Espinoza, a good friend from my group! Ya ye! and....we were going to the offices because she had her final interview and I was going to be able to see almost all the sisters that are leaving. Wow. a rest/break and HAPPINESS. It was so nice to talk with Hna Espinoza about cool things that we have learned on the mission and miracles that we have seen, also about sooo many other amazing things!  :) It was great! It was exactly exactly exactly what I needed to pump myself up again. Also, seeing my girls at the offices! :) I have no doubt that Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to be as happy as I can be :)

Saturday, the elders had a baptism! Ya ye! and we invited Maribel, and investigator, but she told us that she couldn't come because she was too far away, which was a bummer, buuutttt Hna Colque was like, lets call Douglas!!!  We called him and he was like "yeah for sure ill go! ". Ahh he's so great! He is preparing for his baptismal date the 14 of March :D I'm so excited! he even came to church!  And sooo, after the baptism, we asked him how he felt and he said, the same that he always feels when he is here in the church. Something different. A peace and tranquility that he just wants. Ahhhh! so happy!! :D  He had a great time and the ward is doing a great job at fellowshipping him! :D

This is basically a journal entry, sorry. Ha ha, but I know that this week is going to be crazy awesome! :D I'm so stoked. I know that it's going to be the week that we have been waiting for! :D .. I pray that its the week that we've, I've been waiting for.. ha ha.   I still can't believe that all my friends are finishing tomorrow, except like 6! I'm just so stunned at how fast time flies by. I'll be praying for them all :) I know that the Lord has a BEAUTIFUL plan lay out for each and every one of them! :D And for meeeeeee. and for you guys too! :D

God seriously loves us so much!  :)  Sorry, for just making you read my journal, but I hope you were able to enjoy at least one little part of it :) Please pray for me and Hna Colque and my new comp too! :) We need all the prayers we can get! :D

Love you guys and I hope you have a great week! Till next Monday!

Here are some fotos....

GOD LOVES US SO MUCH! :D be good and read the scriptures! there's power in the scriptures and in prayer! :D Sooooooo much power!
